I love the fact that countries can keep functioning on pure inertia.

Do we have a prime minister who performs his duties as leader? No. Does his president provide the foresight and progeny the people are thirsty for at this dour hour? No. Does the justice minister exert authority over the judicial system? No. Does the army chief give his troops the feeling that he is committed to his job 120% and that nothing obscures this commitment? No.

So how can the country continue to function? Who is at the helm? There must be SOMEONE over there, at the tip of the ship. Who is it??

I think it's the six million prime ministers from the previous post.

Unlike in the past, when people were indoctrinated to believe they had their backs to the wall, and only a strong leader could help them out of the situation, Israelis now know they must first manage their private lives and only then look around them to see how their country is doing.

This is what generates the inertia. This is what in other countries is considered normalcy, and over here is still a miracle. This is what was slammed by many in July as the Bubble created by the residents of Tel Aviv to help them remain oblivious to the war.

This is what is saving us right now from chaos.
